This is a lovely setting, with lots of stone tables and chairs, lovely water features which is set in beautiful gardens quite Idylicallic in the quaint town of Vetnor on the Isle of Wight. This is I believe an award winning tea room serving amongst other things Tapas, home made soups, and well known Apple Pie. We wanted a cream tea and decided to choose these tea rooms because they seemed so inviting however, when we got to the till and the server rang up the bill I nearly fell on the floor they cost £6.50 EACH you got 2 scones which were not warmed up (which I would have expected from an establishment such as this)a pot of clotted cream, some strawberries and strawberry jam and of course tea/coffee. I feel that this was nothing special, I was'nt too happy at being charged £13.00 for 2 cream teas especially as other tea rooms around were charging around £6.00 for 2 cream teas I do not feel this was value for money at all.
