A snowy walk followed by mulled cider in front of a log fire. Perfect place to stop for lunch. Friendly staff. Great food(I had pheasant ) and a choice of five real ales. Wonderful. We will be back to play in the playground in the summer.

Very busy little pub. The staff were excellent, welcoming & organised. They knew about the beer. Definitely a pub for drinkers, although the food is very good. Managed to try 3 out of four real ales. Very impressed. I can seee why they won CAMRA publicans of the year.

What an excellent little pub. My family & I booked a table in their restaurant for Mother's day lunch. The place was packed but the service was still great. Very friendly with excellent quality food, the servings were a bit on the large size but that didn't bother my brood. According to the boys the beer was superb but I stuck to a nice bottle of red from a very long list. Well done to everyone there! We will definitely be going back.
