Lovely "fresh" food, well prepared and wonderfuly presented ,with a bonus of free sparkling mineral water, fresh bread rolls and butter, however it was unfortunate that we had to pay an additional £2.50 for extra side dishes. Definitivaly a nice, cosy pub and a worthwile visit if you travaling around the West Devon area. The Corrales family.

Fantastic pub which specialises in West Country meat, fish and game. Food is seasonal, local, home made. We would love to have a pub with this standard of food down the road in London! It's a buzzy local pub which is unpretentious, lively with a great mix of characters. We had fresh Cornish crab with home made (as everything is, bar the ice cream and the bread rolls) lemon mayo, roast gilt head bream, South Devon sirloin steak with Cornish blue cheese butter with fanastic puds to follow! Hard to pick but ... lemon posset with raspberries, cherry and almond tart. Highly recommended.
