Having eaten well at The Rock several times before we were very disappointed with the standard of the food on this visit. The fish pie seemed to consist of watery mashed potato, minced fish,(only 1 piece of whitefish & 1 piece of salmon discernable)and a cheese glaze. It was served in a shallow, creme brulee type dish. When we remarked that we were disappointed we were met with sarcasm and snide remarks! Hardly a response which will make us want to return.
