Friendly staff, spacious rooms and the food was excellent. A great base from which to explore the Lake District. We are so disappointed that the hotel is closed with no early prospect of re-opening. Our favourite place south of the border.

My partner Elaine and I visited the beautiful and friendly Skinburness Hotel regularly. Food was always fantastic, one of the highlights, we always made good use of the gym/sunbed/pool etc. The rooms were always immaculate and spacious and the Staff were always very warm, welcoming and friendly. What a pity this has happened and we only knew because we were just about to book another visit. So dissapointed, it was a real special place to us. But thanks to all the staff (jo and guys) for all your hard work. We will never forget this lovely place.
