Good Points: Staff were very helpful in all matters.
Bad Points: Sadly found no hot water in our bathroom and had to use room next door luckily with the other couple we were away with.
General review: Very good on the whole for the 1 night..

Good Points: easy access from the moterway. lovely setting. friendly staff. peacefull location close to the village.
Bad Points: didnt like the key card for the room, had trouble getting in.
General review: excellent-worry free.

Good Points: excellent chef & restaurant
Bad Points: Decor needs refreshing, looking a bit tatty which is a shame in a beautiful old property, some parts need replacing eg cheap internal doors it down
General Review: Overall very pleased, staff were very helpful and attentive. Food excellent. Was contacted immediately after booking regarding availability of non-smoking room. Beautiful location and grounds, perfect for small intimate weddings

Good Points: spaciousness, nice gardens, friendly staff, reasonable price, the booking problems rapidly rectified.
Bad Points: nothing disliked about the accommodation but, a little concerned about the dog comments, accept only guide dogs allowed but their restriction not to use the bar and restaurant is not really satisfactory for a blind person and I wonder if this is normal practice?
General Review: The general view of our stay was extremely good, the confusion , mentioned above, about our booking being cancelled in error concerned us because if we had not telephoned the day prior we could have arrived and no room available! A computer error??????????? This is not a complaint merely an observation and hopefully action can be taken to stop it happening to others in the future.
