Stayed at hotel for two nights. Room was quite nice and clean. Thought it strange that there was no ice making facilities available and had to go to bar everytime for ice bucket. Usually use mini fridge to keep the wine bottle cold but there was no fridge in room.
Very dissapointed in breakfast, as always look forward to this. Had early breakfast on the sat, the hot plate was on far too high, the food was still cooking as apposed being kept warm. The result of this was that everything was hard, from the black pudding to the fried bread.
Expensive breakfast consisted of cereal on the sun as there was not much improvement.

Good Points: Lay-out was very good in both car parking and internally. The Dining area was good with the staff attentive and helpful. Food was good but pricey as is the wine/beer/spirits
Bad Points: The Bar area was big but found it under staffed when busy. Your TV could certainly be updated to a big screen and at least one more as there was the Champions League games on with various British teams playing but only one choice of match due to the existing TV set-up, also limited choice in the Room of TV programmes.
General review: Greater choice of TV programmes particularly in the Room and Bar area. Dedicated No-Smoking Rooms, I don't know if the new smoking laws apply to indiviual rooms? Reasonable prices in the bar and at the dining table.

Good Points: clean friendly and great facilities
Bad Points: nothing
General Review: great place for a relaxing break in a quite location next to large retail park but close enough to the centre of Newcastle via public transport if you feel like a night on the town, leisure centre not to be missed fab.
