Hi I visited Sidmouth on the 8th july 2008 as part of a day out with my wife and daughter we thouht it might be nice to have dinner out we settled on the Anchor Inn ordered dinner and had a drink the meal arrived my wifes was ok my daughters and mine was awful the chips looked as if they had been served up before maybe the custermers before us ?? I told the barman when asked if the meal was ok that it was crap he agreed the oil in which the chips were fryed might be old and gave the impression he did'nt give a toss I would not recommend having a meal there MISERABLE PLACE BYE
