Our room was very hot and noisy being above a kitchen, and dining room.
Dining and drinking continued loudly until about midnight - kitchen equipment never stopped ...
Had a very poor nights sleep, cold breakfast was available to those who were prepared to elbow their way through to a kitchenette, and share tables in a dark room. We gave up and left at about 10am at which point no cooked breakfast seemed to have been served.
The room wasn't even particularly clean - there was a shower in the room (not en-suite - actually in the room) and there was a toilet in the cupboard!

Myself and a few family members stayed at the Oyster Smack over the weekend as it was my brothers wedding nearby. We had never been there before so we just picked it out of a list of places to stay. I must say I have never stayed in anything like it before! We were very dissapointed in the accomodation to say the least! Myself and my partner had the worst room I think of them all. We were right above the kitchen so we had the noise of the fridges all night! When we eventually got to sleep, we were woken with terrible back ache from the not so comfy bed. There was a stand up shower in the corner of the room, which I must add, had no extractor fan, which if they were a proper motel they should know that it is a vialation not to have one! To top it off my nan was staying in the room next to us and she ended up falling down the stairs as there was no banister to hold onto in the dark stair case with not a care in the world from the employees there! I am disgusted with the place and I would urge people to find alternative accommodation if they are to stay in Burnham.
