our experience and stay at the Luttrell Arms in Dunster was wonderful...after a drink in your pub that night my sister and I went to our room, opened the windows and there standing up on the old stone wall were two sheep, a black one and a white one eating one of the shubs in the "Secret Garden"...I found everything so charming and steeped in history...although a short stay it was memorable...perhaps I'll make it back one day....Somerset is a lovely area with breathtaking scenery...visitor from Ontario,Canada

The hotel is spectacular! It dates back to the 14th or 15 th century,is wonderfully maintained with all its charm and is very comfortable.I traveled all across England and it was my favorite town and hotel.I would recomend it to anyone who wants to see a perfect example of a medieval town, still unspoilt and without an eyesore anywhere. The food was fantasic, the portions lavish and tasty, the staff friendly.I honestly do not have one bad word to say about Dunster and the Luttrell arms hotel.I want to go back and live there when I retire. a+++++++++
