What a change. The Imperial Arms was always a good friendly pub to visit some years ago but fell apart when taken over by a tenant who had no idea about hospitality. Now under new management the pub is spotless, plenty of choice, food served daily and now has sky TV. Talking to the landlady plans are in place to extend the out door area with decking and heaters have been installed. The beer is fresh and cold and there is an extensive choice. Well worth a visit if you are looking for a pub with a friendly welcome, that's clean and you can relax in. A big change to what was happening or not happening a year ago.
