Good Points: The olde world charm of the exterior and interior. It's location. The food, and service, and friendliness of the staff. Bad Points: Although we had a jacuzzi in bathroom, we couldn't get it to work and the shower would not turn off completely. We were supposed to be able to access Sky television, but could not access the programmes. General Review: Overall, we thought our stay was good. As I've said, the staff were very pleasant and the food was very good. I think we were pleasantly surprised by the charm of the building and it's location. We were visiting Sissinghurst Gardens the following day and the hotel's location proved ideal for that purpose. We would stay there again.

Spacious room in historic building updated to modern standards Longer bed for tall people. Friendly and helpful front of house staff, supported by excellent chef and team. Separate Brasserie for informal customers, with main bar, lounge and dining room for the smartly casual. Interesting and tempting Menus are same in Dining room and Brasserie/lounge. Quiet, historic town, so good night's sleep, but has all the facilities including a variety of shops, and a good centre for many Kent and East Sussex attractions.
