We booked a table but shouldn't have bothered as no body took any notice of us when we arrived, so found ourselves a table and forced a member of staff to actually speak to us, she never explained that we had to order and pay at the bar, just left us to it. It also seemed to cause a problem asking for the roast beef to be replaced by chicken. Three out of the four meals were served totally wrong to what we had ordered, the cabbage had a smoked flavor, otherwise the food wasn't bad but not worth the price! We waited one hour for our starters, whilst we were eating our starters another waitress tried to give us our pudding that we hadn't even ordered! Service was dreadful, it's such a shame could be a little goldmine, sadly going to waste because of poor staff discipline. Atmosphere was cold and bland and very unwelcoming, couldn't wait to leave. It was the first time we've been able to take my elderly mother out in years, so we were very disappointed. Wouldn't recommend or go back. I'm giving it one star as they remembered to unlock the front door.
