We arrived at the hotel and found it to be very good in terms of staff and the room ( in general). We had dinner in another local hotel due to our hotel being very expensive. Later that evening we got back to our room and found that the bed was like sleeping on a slice of rice paper (springs were felt coming through the matress). We both had to sleep on the floor if we had any chance of getting any sleep for the drive home the following day. The room was nice but could have been a lot better in tema of making sure the guests are as comfortable as possible. Very disappointing.

Just spent the weekend in Inveraray, the hotel was ideal, the setting, food, rooms and staff can't be faulted. The addition of a hot tub was great fun. Inveraray is a jewel and we will return.

"Homely, beautiful setting with stunning views over the loch and mountains.","It was a wee bit cold in the bedroom, but there was a heater and extra blankets.","A beautiful setting - the hotel was very pretty and good value for money. Most of the local attractions were closed for winter so there was not a lot to do locally. The leisure centre was lovely, though the attendant was a bit surly and did not return our locker deposit money - though reception did put this right. There was entertainment every night as there were coach parties in. The restaurant staff were very friendly and the table d'hote menu was good."
