My family and I visited this pub on Saturday evening (party of eight) and we won't be back. They kept us waiting 1 hour 50 mins for the food - which was freezing cold and mostly inedible. When I complained, they quibbled with me saying they had to 'survive'. They gave us no explanation for the late/cold/burnt food and did not at any point apologise. Instead they acted as though we were unreasonable, despite the manageress admitting that she had seen the meals leave the kitchen and several of them were inedible. They eventually knocked two of the meals off the bill but the staff were surly with us and we were even treated to some chilidsh comments on the way out. Bad service, rude staff and late, cold and burnt food, I do not recommend. There are many wonderful pubs in Pendle, try somewhere else.
