on visiting the allendale inn i found the manager that has been in for the last few years is no longer there i did not try the food but it was not the same as it was. Janet henderson Hexham

The Allendale inn is just a fantastic place for food,and meeting great people.Ian and the team who present the Allendale inn are just lovely people who know how to make everybody welcome and how to look after and cater for peoples needs.We have just bought a caravan at Allendale and we just love it so much,I would reccomend for all to take a visit to a great place and meet the fantastic people who just chill out and have a great time. the food in this pub is the best i have had in the last 25yrs,i live in Catton but dont normally eat out at pubs so this was a one off and because i was so impressed i will be eating there once a week,keep up the good work,and thanks

During a long days photography of the tynedale area we went to the allendale inn for some lunch. All I can say it was as close to perfect as one could get. Staff were spot on and the food was excellent. You could not argue about the price. The whole experience was lush. Keep up the good work. We will make a point to return the next time we are in the area.

we called the allendale for sunday lunch it was tip top, the service was excellent and the pub has be done out to a very high standed we will be going back for sure. it could not have been better. the manager and all his staff very helpful j&jT Henerson
