We have just returned from our short stay in the IOW and had a great time staying in this lovely guest house.
The young couple in charge were extremely friendly and we were made to feel most welcome.
The room was very comfortable and of great value for money.
The breakfast was wonderful and choice plentiful. We look forward to returning there again.

Went to the Petanque Open for the first time this year, and had a great time. All the members of the Petanque Club were very welcoming. Thsy made all visitors feel very welcome. At the Presentation Dinner and the Goodbye Dinner everybody had a great time.
The event was exremely well organised, and run very smoothly.The only drawback was the location of the Piste. A lot of time was wasted by our party trying to find where it was.
As we would like to go to their 2009 Open, we would like dates of when this is to be as Septmber is proving to be a very busy month.

Good Points: Friendliness of staff, nothing too much trouble.
Breakfast - good selection and quantity of food. Room reasonable size and bed comfortable
Good location for easy reach of restaurants/entertainment for dinner
Bad Points: Shower not very efficient
View from window overlooking back garden not too good. However, the young couple in charge appear to have put a lot of effort into increasing the standard of accomodation and plan to do more.
General review: Overall our stay was comfortable and pleasant
