I was on a dayout from work sometime in 2001 and bought an exploer ticket from Oxford.I had not been to Thame before so got off to have look round.I noticed the pub and thought it looked interesting.I went inside and liked the look of it.I looked at the drinks on offer and chose a lager. It was one of the best lagers i had tasted in quite a while. Some people may say it`d a bit expensive, but i thought it was value for money as the exterior and interior are somewhat up-market but retain the `feeling` of a small-town establishment.
