We used this hotel as a base for our weekend trip to see Phil Collins in Glasgow. First impressions were not that good but once inside the hotel becomes quite pleasing.
We were checked in by a very courteous receptionist and made our way to a small but welcoming and well equipped room. Beds were very comfortable, satellite tv and a decent shower cubicle and the all-important tea/coffee making facility made our stay very enjoyable.
Alarm calls and taxi booking was done for us at no extra cost and the breakfast we had was absolutely fantastic.
Sadly we had to rush this as the restaurant opened at 7.00am and our taxi was due at 7.30am!
The only downside was the hotel's location at the top of a very steep hill. I suffer from Asthma and found the incline very hard to ascend!
