Stopped here for lunch (bangers and mash, which was excellent)and a couple of drinks(The Harveys is superb)and loved the atmosphere.Pub was busy, especially considering it was a rainy midweek lunchtime in October, and staff very friendly and informative about the local area. The Landlady,Gemma,I think, has a great smile, knows her stuff and should do very well here.We will come back!

My partner and i found this pub by chance,it looked very countryfied from the outside, so we decide to pop in just for a drink. The place was friendly with a few groups of people eating their food. The food smelt lovely and we decide to stay and eat.Well it was a really superb tasting meal and pretty reasonable,we had 3
courses each and a couple of beers each. The bill was approx £30,very well worth eat.As it was dark we could only just about make out the large rear garden which was staggered going downwards, but at all levels there was decking with plenty of chairs .This garden must be seen in daytime so im going again as it over looked some very lovely looking scenery.out of 10 we gave it a good 8.

A wonderful meal in a lovely environment. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Would recommend a meal here to anybody as the food is well above your normal pub grub.
