What a fabulous night, we had. My partner and I had a great meal, accompanied by a really cheeky bottle of Rose. My man not really being a wine drinker was thrilled at the traditional ale that was on offer, especially when his bitter was only £1.60 a pint. He was given a red rose over the bar to give to me, and then complimentary chocs were given at the end of our meal. Yummy.
We finished off dancing the night away, as a valentine disco was on, and what fun. The landlady very kindly allowed us to leave our car, and arranged a taxi home for us. We returned to collect said car next day, and was welcomed back like an old friends. So comfortable were we made to feel, that we stayed for sunday lunch. Thanks Angie and Mark!

went back to the punchbowl as they have live music every thursday night,it realy is a must,as said before the ale is exelant,at a fantastic price, but this is about the music.the band are put upon a stage that works realy well for the band and the custemers, loking at the board that has all the up coming bands you can see the standard of music is the best in warwick, bands like Emma kotka, partners in crime, accustic who,F4,L.I.X,Catch 22,and many more it realy is a wicked night,i my self found the evening was one of my best,iv not realy been into live music before as there was no were to go ,G.W puts on music but its far to small and its more accustic blues with the same acts playing month on month.i hope mark continues putting on entertainment as he seems to know what works,iv been in promotion for 15 years and always take time out to talk to him as he seems to know whats going on around him, take time out and vissit the punchbowl,it realy is the only place in warwick to go,enjoy.

The drinks are reasonable and the bar staff friendly however the kitchen is run as a separate business, the food ok and the service was appalling. I would not recommend going there to eat.

The pub is a must for fresh food. We had a great day out in Warwick and rounded our trip off nicely with afeww drinks and a superb meal here. With a limited choice of lagers and wines which my wife informed of not being chilled at all we were hesitant to stay, but saw a menu board and stayed for dinner. The food was superb our host gave us varous menu choices we had fish and langoustines sizzling to our table. It was magnificant. The chef came to check on us we would definately recommend the food here as it is all prepared on the premises and homecooked. The couple who run the food have definately impressed us, indeed.
