my mom had just tuck on the railway inn when we got there the place was a tip orr the kichen was hurendo and i didnt like to stay in there every long but after 13 weeks of cleaning she has finaly got it sparkling clean and the place look's fab i personly say go in and have one of shef bunarrds dilisois meals and stay at the cleand up not a stat rent out flates it has only dust opend on the 16 of december im sure now the place will be much better now its cleand up now i give it 5 stars *****

I booked 3 rooms at this place last year for my family who were coming for a party from up north. They only needed a bed to sleep in for the night as they were travelling back to Manchester the next day. It is only a small pub so we did not expect huge rooms or anything. When they arrived the woman had forgot I had booked it and paid the deposit even though she wrote it in the book. My sister told her they would be leaving about 8 am will someone be there to take the payment. She was told yes. My sister looked at the rooms and told the woman they needed a clean and my sister was told the cleaner was on the way. As my family had got stuck in traffic they left their cars and made their way to the party. After the party I got a taxi with them as they were a bit drunk and did not know the area. While the taxi waited I went into the rooms and what I saw was appalling. I don't know if the sheets were ever washed. The bin was full of rubbish, the carpet had never been hoovered, it stunk of stale b.o.. there were 5 people in the three rooms and only 1 towel between them all, not that they would have showered. The hallway was no better, absolutley filthy, but I did not have the room at my house so they had to try and sleep in the beds and hopefully not catch anything. The next day at 8am they were ready to leave and knocked on the front door to pay the balance of the bill after 20 minutes of knocking, trying to ring the phone, knocking some more they just gave up and went home. If she had of paid them I would have been round for a refund, as it is I paid them £30 deposit and that was to much for the digsuting state the place was in. I am just glad they did not eat there because who knows what state the kitchen would be in. Horrid place, do not go there.
