I visited today to see what all the fuss was about and to see if indeed this pub is really as bad as I had heard.
Well I could not get in the car park for the sake of two huge skips full of compost, I was told to get out of the car park by a man I was informed to be the Ex- Councillor ( I wonder why he's the Ex), I parked outside on the road, some distance to the pub and walked back and entered( the road was parked up full of cars and busy).
I have an image in my mind of those pubs or clubs on tv in the 70's and 80's with the sticky carpets and broken furniture and fittings, let's just say I would have longed to have been in them pubs rather than this, it was awful, smelt strong of ale, and it seemed that this pub was living in the 90's as two guys were smoking at the bar along with the bar person - hello I'm a smoker but ain't this illegal.
I ordered a drink only to have to give it back as the glass had lipstick on, and eventually I sat down, the seats give them credit were clean and comfortable, but the floor well let's not go there, having drank my drink, I made my mind up to leave after a visit to the little boys room, I made it to the little boys room, however the smell alone made me turn around and leave.
All in all I would rather poke my feet with forks, I will not be returning or recommending it, if your a pub goer, this is definitely a NO GOER
