Good Points: Lovely historic hotel. Room excellent and food in the Kings Restaurant was simply fantastic - highly recommended!
Bad Points: Can't really find fault to be honest, only slight comment would be it was a tiny bit chilly in our room, but there was a heater to plug in which soon warmed up the room - can't really complain after all the hotel is 800 years old!!!
General review: We would thoroughly recommend a stay at this hotel, the staff were very friendly. The room was lovely, large and lots of character with beautiful furniture. It also had all the mod-cons you would want too. Dinner was wonderful as was breakfast, we had a B&B + dinner deal which made it really good value for money. It's hard to imagine that you will come across such a gem when you drive through Grantham high street, we were not disappointed - bags of history if you like that sort of thing - stone, crooked walls and lots of pictures with stories to tell - loved it!
