We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in June 2007. We had a front facing room which was a little noisy due to the traffic from the road. The room was small considering it was a superior room and the regular rooms are very limited for space. The bathroom was light and had recently been refurbished. The room was poorly lit and felt very dated as did the common areas of the hotel. The staff (especially Becky) were helpful and the food was good, although for a stay of more than 3-4 nights the menu was limited as it didn't change (apart from some things not being available). Generally we felt that the atmosphere would benefit from the owner being around more and showing an interest in his guests (and staff!) rather than just turning up during the daytime, now and again.
