A superb meal was enjoyed by my husband and myself, the atmosphere and attention to detail is second to none. I have done nothing but rave about it to family and friends since and hope to return soon.

We stopped off at the Anglers Inn for lunch, The prices are higher than expected, but then again , its not really a bar lunch. The staff were lovely as was the dining room. The food was Excellent!! Presentation was tremendous as was the food. I can highly recommend the fish, chips and minted peas, and my partner had rhubarb trifle,( that was to die for). will definitely be back in the very near future. We will try it in the evening next time, great choice of food.

I and three lady members of my family stayed for 3 nights. The welcome and service from all staff was excellent, homely, friendly and professional. The cuisine was first class and normally to be found in only the best of restaurants. The dining room is spacious, and of fine quality, remaining welcoming and friendly. The accommodation is clean, neat and with all normal provisions.
While we were there the enjoyment of its numerous clientele was plain to see and this we shared. Highly recommended.

The Angler’s Inn in Guiltown is real gem. The new owners have years of experience in producing high quality cuisine. They have updated the menu and the décor to create what could be termed more as a “gastropub”. I have eaten there for both lunch and dinner, and have enjoyed both excellent food and service. If you want a cheap microwave produced meal then this is not the place to come. I think the dining here is excellent value when you consider the quality of the food, using many local ingredients. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good meal but not necessarily seeking a formal dining experience.

I recently attended a weekend bluegrass festival along with a few hundred campers very close to the Anglers Inn. In past years the pub was one of the main focal points of the festival as it was the only pub for miles around. The pub was renowned for it's great bar lunches and value for money. Most of the festival goers were happy to spend their money in here. The festival brought the Anglers inn it's busiest weekend of the year.
Sadly the Anglers inn has changed hand and has now been transformed into a very over priced restaurant, who are selective with the class of people they want to frequent their establishment.
The courtesy and hospitality of manager and staff toward the visitors over that weekend was a disgrace. I’ve never seen a manager so miserable, when so many people were spending their money. An example of this is when the bar would sell it's last orders then within a few minutes ask every one to leave immediately !
Sadly the Anglers Inn will pay the price for this next year when the festival rolls back into town. Most of the campers I spoke to are refusing to set foot back in this place due to the over priced food and the unpleasantness shown to them by the manager and his staff.
