What i can i say about the Blackie ? I moved from Glasgow in the late 80`s to Aberfeldy and top of my priorities was to find a pub to make me feel at home. It was run at the time by Ian ( crofty ) & Maria who kept up the great tradition of a well run establishment . It is now in the hands of Terry & Clare who i got too know briefly before heading of to pastures new again, in Australia and im glad to say there doing just as good a job . Now in Oz i know for certain that i`ll never find another Blackie , the staff past and present were superb and made my 20 years in Aberfeldy a joy , something i miss dearly

My wife, sister,brother-in-law and myself holidayed in Aberfeldy for a week and spent a number of hours in the evening having a wee dram at the Black Watch Inn. We were treated very well by all the staff and it made a refreshing change to see a well run pub in which you could enjoy a pint. Greg is a class act as a bar person. Thanks again for a great week. Just sorry we could't stay longer. We will certainly go back to Aberfeldy thanks to everyone

what a lovely Venue. The food entertainment and hospitality is a refreshing change that I think Scotland needs. Clare and Terry have made this a WINNER!
