I was in the UK to see my Father - over from Oz at 92 - and my children and grandchildren and decided to have a meal at this establishment. We actually just missed the tow meals for 9 pounds but as there were nine of us we did not worry. Having the menu we all decided on starters and the main meal (two were children's) so my son and I go to the bar to order only to be informed that several of the meals were not available as they had no eggs, potatoes, pasta, jelly, strawberries and several other ingredients. Eventually we did manage to order some food but when we came to the sweet menu the majority that was on it was not available. As this was very early evening - just after, I think 18h30, I really think this was poor and actually spoilt the whole family get together. I certainly would not return or recommend you to anyone else. Dissatified customer.

Again, it wasn't anything special but all plates were left empty with no complaints over wait or quality. 3 adults and 2 teenagers, food and drinks 38 quid. No longer a pub, real ale pump clips turned round only downside..walk upto Penrhyn Arms or Cross Keys around the corner in Penrhynside for real pups.

Diabolical food and service. Slow - food took over half an hour to arrive and then only after I went looking for it, small portions, food not hot, nor well-presented, and staff have terrible 'don't care' attitude - very very disappointed. Have contacted head office to complain and will not be visiting again.

Ordered 7 meals at 18:20 and were told to expect them in about 30 mins. They came an hour later. Even the drinks took about 20 mins to appear, after they offered to bring them over.
Food was fine, nothing special - comparable to Wetherspoons. Would only go again if had plenty of time to spare!
