Advertised as Ireland's oldest pub, established in 1611, this quaint little pub will surprise you. Entering thru the original front entry you find the original bar area complete with a snug.
In the rear is a well done renovation and grand dining area where well prepared meals are served in fine style. The menu encompassed the higher end dining fare-not so much a 'pub grub' menu but very nicely done surf or turf with standard Irish fare in between. Moderately to high priced, a good selection of wines (though no Canadian labels) and good service provide a very pleasant dining experience.
Highly recommended.
