I loved it! We had a great evening. Wonderful wine, really good food and all at a surprisingly reasonable price. The atmosphere is buzzing yet sophisticated, and the staff really helpful and friendly. We may even have our staff party here! If you havn't been, try it. A great addition to the bush.

It all started very promising with a great refit, a beautiful dining room and excellent if not limited menu. Unfortunately, the staff are unfriendly and the owners have swopped the curtousy of their first weeks of opening for a rude and dismissive manner. Not somewhere I would recommend.

So looking forward to visiting but was a bit disappointed. I booked a week in advance but was given an inferior table in the bar which is ok if you have just walked in but not when you have booked in advance. They were very nice about moving us into the lovely dining room but then didnt get our starters for 40 minutes - and didnt recieve any bread at all. Food was lovely, maybe the portions were slightly stingy - but hey - I will go back, the service does need to be better though.

If you live in the area and havn't tried Princess Victoria yet...go. The interior has been completely transformed and it looks amazing. The food is way above the quality of your average gastro pub, and the dining room is stunning! The wine list is really good, and the wine guy really knows hius stuff. Friendly staff too. They have a Saturday food market outside too...though I havn't been yet, sounds good. Shepherd's Bush really needed this.
