I visited this establishment on saturday 31st March, i was not very happy with the service as the barmaid was too busy serving the men and didnt seem interested that i was there waiting!! her attitude wasn't very pleasant and she wasn't dressed suitably for the type of establishment that it is! and as for the landlord well he just swanned around as if he owned the place, with a very arrogant attitude ! i wont be visiting this place again !

what a smashing pub! after been to a bonfire my family and i were cold and needed something to eat. so we stopped off at the hazel pear. we sat right next to the open fire to keep warm. we looked at the menu and trust me theres loads to pick from. i went for a chicken sizzler in bbq sause with homemade chips, which has fantastic! my wife had freshly battered fish with homemade chips and mushy peas. ( better than theos the chippy!)my children had a 4oz steak each which they loved. to be honest it didnt feel like we were at a pub, it felt we were at home. the staff are really friendly1 as we were leaving they were starting a quiz night which i believe is the first wednesday of every month. i saw signs for the animals but it was too cold and dark to see them. my family and i will be paying another visit to the hazel pear inn!!

what an excellent pub, everything you want in a pub is there under 1 building. my family andi think that when you go to a pub it should have great beer, place for parents to relax whilst there childreb play, great tasty food, a warm welcome and great service. this pub has them all. whilst my wife and i relaxed my children were playing on the park and strokeing and feeding the animals. yes that right they have goats, chicken, ducks and even a pig called lilly! they have open fires and they came runner up in the camera. since my visit my family and i ahve been every week since.
