Dont be taken in by the promise of traditional charm; this hotel is a depressing place suited to people of a certain age. It is dated, stuck in the past and in need of considerable modernisation. We decided to go elsewhere after a tour of public areas -didn't bother unloading the car. Avoid.

We were greeted at the hotel only to be told that we were to early and to come back in an hour or so.
We did cheque in after an hour or so passed. We had to carry our own bags up the stairs as the porter did not seam intrested in helping out.
The reasturant wasnt good
We gave up with the food in the end and had cheese an biscuits.
