Good Points: Lovely setting, an interesting building with lots of character, good food, a great selection of English Ales, and friendly staff. Bad Points: The general Decor of the hotel certainly needs attention, like the carpets (dirty in rooms and worn thoughout the hotel), condensation mould in bathrooms, just needs a bit of attention. General Review: The stay was quite good, a lovely setting and friendly staff. Not sure if i would stay there as a tourist due to the general run down condition of the accomondation, but would like to take my wife for a weekend when it improves.

Good Points: Throughout our stay I found the staff very friendly, helpful and accomodating to our needs. My party had dinner in the bar area and we really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and superb menu. If in the area again, we will definately return.
