Beginning with the warmest of personal welcomes by Cathy our stay at "The Old Coach House" was an experience we will definitely repeat. Located within 3 mins of the main route through Devon and Cornwall this wonderful facility provided peace and quiet well beyond any expectation. Set within delightful gardens, surrounded by beautiful countryside the very well appointed rooms encourage instant wind down and de-stress upon arrival. Our allocated room was not done any justice by the website photograph, it was excellent, like a home from home, someone has put a lot of thought and effort into the facilities. The decoration, furniture and even lighting were just perfect. The standards of cleanliness were exceptional. After a lovely shower and some relaxation this was followed by one of the best nights sleep we can remember in a superbly comfortable bed with the total quiet that only this type of location can offer. Waking thoroughly refreshed we ventured across to the "Thatched Cottage" to enjoy a delightful breakfast with everything on offer including fresh fruit, cereal, croissants, toast and of course a freshly cooked Devonshire breakfast. We had forgotten how good a well prepared cooked breakfast, using quality ingredients, could taste. Even my healthy appetite could not keep up with the apparently unlimited toast, tea and coffee. We could not find fault with any part of our stay and therefore personally recommend "The Old Coach House".
