The service was the worst I have ever had. The staff where extremely slow and exceptionally rude when asked why the main course had not been brought out until 50 minutes from finishing the starter. The tables where dirty and not cleaned with any sort of cloth once a party had left, other than moving uneaten food onto the floor. What was once a wonderful restaurant can now only be described as a shadow of its former self. However, the food was adequate and had a home cooked feel about it and the price was above average for Blackpool.

Upon entering the restaurant you are greeted by a member of staff whom looking at their demeanour may need to move to another profession, as it is clear they do not have the manners to be in the hospitality trade. Your shown to a table that may have clean cutlery on, but has not seen a good clean since opening. If your thirsty please take your own drink as it took 15 minutes to receive the order, even though the restaurant was only half full. However, the food was of a standard quality and as such will not receive any complaints. I have to point out again that upon ordering the started to 35 minutes to arrive and then the main course 20 minutes after the collection of the used plates. Please, please do not order a desert as the waitress took the order and returned 40 minutes later asking what we had asked for, as she did not write it down. This is a great place to go if you have plenty of time on your hands or you just want to get in from the rain! If the manager is reading this comment please replace your staff, as they seem to be ruining your business.
