My boyfriend and I recently ate at San Carlo over the Easter weekend. Luckily, we prebooked our table over the telephone, as it was ridiculously busy. I was a little disappointed at this, as I thought it meant service would be slow, and the food would take forever. I was completely wrong though!! We were seated promptly and our drinks order taken quickly. Our waiter was keen to help us choose the perfect wine to accompany our meal - he was very helpful and knowledgable about the extensive wine list that the restaurant has, and his recommendation was spot on!
Our order was taken after about 10 minutes, literally as we placed our menues on the table. And our food came in an outstanding time!
The food was beautifully presented, piping hot, and so delicious.
I really can't recommend San Carlo enough - it's a great restaurant in a great location.

I had a really special evening at San Carlo in Leicester. The food was very tasty - I'd recommend San Carlo to anyone! The staff were also surprisingly pleasant - we had a great night
