Saturday evening meal
Lovely recently renovated restaurant - lit by subtle wall lights and cosy candles to accompany the warm fire on arrival. Very warm and inviting.
Friendly welcome; cheerful, speedy service. Supper menu of about 7 main courses, three of which were under £10; including the delicious Beef Bourguignon! Also enjoyed was a very tasty locally sourced lamb to share dish, arriving on a large wooden board with market vegetables and homemade gravy and only £18!! lovely big portion sizes. can't wait to come back soon.

It never fails to surprise us that each time we visit this restaurant it is so quiet. The food, service and anbience are excellent and absolutely nothing is to much trouble. Go and see for yourselves.
