This restaurant exceeded my expectations. Although the general layout/accessories or whatever you want to call them ie:glassware, table ornaments and table cloths were very basic and traditional(not a bad thing) the service and food were excellent! My companion and myself arrived late and the restaurant was full. However, we were greeted by the owner/receptionist in a warm and friendly manner; Nothing was too much trouble. She immediately put us at our ease by offering to show us through to a partition, which was being unused at the time and specially set up a table just for us. Before this though, she poured us a lovely glass of the best red wine I have ever tasted whilst we were waiting. The menu was, I would say traditional and classy, yet with just a touch of the 'Nouville Cuisine' thrown in for presentation. The food was cooked to perfection; I could elaborate, but don't know how much room I have to write! The service was also excellent; polite and discreet, yet friendly and we didn't feel hurried, even though it was late! On our leaving, we were bid a very pleasant farewell, and thanked. Even though slightly more expensive than some,(yet cheaper than others)it was definately worth every penny! Will definately visit in the future and recommend it to my friends and family. Well done and keep up the good work!
