What a find this place is ! The setting is highly original, the conversion to a hotel works perfectly, the cooking is excellent and the rooms very comfortable - ours had a wonderful view of the Clyde. The walk up the gorge to see the nesting peregrines was the perfect touch

This has to be the jewel in the crown of the Clyde Valley. The restoration of the hotel and the village is first class. The service staff at the hotel are amongst the friendliest I have ever met and the food amazing, don't take my word for it
