I went here with a group of chicks for my sister-in-laws hen night, the youngest girly was 19 and the eldest was 78. There were 24 of us in total and there were also 5 other large hen night groups in the restaurant the same night, as well as the odd couple and the smaller groups of 4 or 5 people. The food arrived promptly and all the dishes were correct, food was piping hot and very tasty, and the variety of drinks and cocktails were ordered and delivered without too much of a delay. Once the DJ started (about 9:30ish) everyone was on their feet dancing away, much to the amusement of passers by, but after a selection of yummy cocktails you didn’t really care who was watching ;o) Everyone in our party had a great evening. We couldn't fault the restaurant or service at all. We had out table booked from 7pm, and I arrived early to decorate the table NB the only thing we couldn't have was table confetti which is understandable as it takes the staff ages to clear up and they often find bits weeks later, but everything else was ok, the waiters seemed oblivious to the willy straws and other innuendo props at the tables, the last of our group (well, me) left at 12, although there were still a few people from other groups dancing the soles of their shoes. We didn’t feel rushed and we certainly weren't encouraged to leave anytime soon. I definitely recommend this place for a night out, especially if you're with a group of people or if you want to start the night off with good food, yummy cocktails and a lively atmosphere before hitting a club. Saturday nights at this place aren't the night if you want a romantic meal for two – unless you're just looking into each others eyes (blurgh) it's far too lively a place for that. Just note tho - some of the main courses are of a larger portion size, personally I wished I never had a starter as some of the desserts looked amazing but I was so stuffed I couldn't even look at the dessert menu. Next time I go there (and I will go again) I'll skip the starter so I can have a main course and then a dessert. If you have a large party I would suggest leaving a deposit, they say it's not necessary unless you have a party of 20 or more, at first there were 16 of us and as the group got larger I went back and paid more (£10 a head and got a receipt each time) but it does get very busy in there, so to save yourself disappointment, pay a deposit. Enjoy!
