My wife and I were in Hastings for the day and we happened upon this charming building while walking along the seafront in the Old town part.
Inside it was clean and very cosy. The meal we had was excellent. The fish and chips was a huge portion for the price, and it was very fresh - not that frozen rubbish that Ive had in other places in hastings. This was fresh local plaice and they have a great range of fresh local fish to choose from.
My wife had a roast dinner which again was a huge portion and tasted very good.
The home-made apple crumble again was excellent.
The menu was very reasonable and the staff very attentive and professional.
We will now go to the Seagull whenever we are in Hastings
