We felt the standard and portion size was very poor for the cost. Would not re-visit or recomend .Very, very, over rated.

A very traditional restaurant and bar. Run by a local couple for many years. The food is of a very high standard, all homecooked on the premises to order, and for a very resonable competative cost. I had the pork which was a large joint complete with crackling. My wife had a steak which just melted in your mouth cooked to perfection. We were told all meat come from a local farm. All Main courses come with a mixture of veg and potato's. We both had starters the Mushroom Moments are to die for. Mushrooms lightly battered stuffed with pate and a warm stilton sauce to dip or pour. Will tell everyone visiting Filey to make it there 1st choice restaurant.
