after treking round the streets of york looking for a good restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary we stumbled on Mana. Initially i wasn't keen having not tried greek food before. after looking at the vast choice we opeted for the £19 option of mixed food (starter, main and dessert). It was mouthwatering and the meat was so tender we didn't want to stop eating it. an excellent restaurant and food and we even witnessed the tradition of plate throwing. top marks and would recommend to anyone.

Upon entering and being insulted by a nosy member of staff enquiring if myself and my girlfriend were indeed together, (This seemed to me to be for his own personal interest in my girlfriend - as we came in arm-in-arm!) we plucked up the courage to brush this off and sit down to eat. What a mistake that turned out to be! All the food came smothered in tomato puree which served only to hide the blandness and ineptness of the chef. The staff proved to be unhelpful and dismissive and when I was presented with the bill I felt totally ripped off for what we had been presented with. I would implore anyone thinking of dining there against the notion as I believe it to be one of the worst restaurants I have ever stepped foot in.
