I visited the restaurant for an evening meal with my wife. The decor in the restaurant is nice and it looks clean. The starters we ordered were OK but from there the complements stop. The main course was not satisfactory - the nan bread was soggy, as were the chips my wife ordered. The hotplates did not meet that description and as a result the food and rice I had been served cooled quickly and were verging on cold by the end of that course. We advised the head waiter who acknowledged our complaint but did nothing else. We were not offered any sweets or coffee after our advice and there was no communication - we paid our bill in full as presented. I advised the barman at the exit door of our complaint and he said he would sort it out next time - but there won't be a next time - we won't go back. We seldom ever complain but this was sloppy service and presentation - warm food is back to basics. We were offered the excuse that the restaurant was warm and they had turned down the hotplates!
I am quite happy to discuss this with any one - customer or owner - more than was offered on the night. I appreciate holiday watchdog site does not require me to do so. My email is bill_hogarty@tiscali.co.uk
