We first visited La Brasseria some weeks ago and have been regulars for lunch ever since. The menu is wonderful, the chef must be the best in Abergavenny, the food is superb. The service is second to none, unhurried, attentive and friendly. The evening menu, which we have also sampled, is varied and the food simply delicious. Since finding this little piece of Italy in the heart of Abergavenny, we have not gone anywhere else. If you like Italian food this is an experience not to be missed. If you have never tried Italian food before, this is an experience not to be missed. You will not be disappointed, we consider it to be simply the best in (and around) town. Visit enjoy and I am sure you will want to go again and again and again............ Norma and Jean.

A party of us ate here last night, and even the most reticent non-foodies had to admit that it was quite outstanding. The setting, staff, talent, inspiration and hard work were a delight to experience. Children were catered for effortlessly. An exquisite menu, including Braised Oxtail, the memory of which will linger long, and a Hot Chocolate Fondant dessert, the stuff of which dreams are made. Congratulations to Justin, Kate, Claire, Cyril and Christophe. If you're looking for a special evening out and don't want the fuss of travelling to and from a large city, then head for Abergavenny. This town, much to many people's surprise, is more than 'markets and mountains'. At present it houses a gem of a restaurant. Hurry and try it.
