We booked only for two nights asa short break and when we arrived found our accomodation had been "up-graded". The accommodation (6 berth, 2 Bdm self catering house) was superb. It was well equiped - nothing had been overlooked. The decor was of a truly high standard, and the food and service was excellent. Exceptionally good value for money and we look forward to a longer stay next time.
Highly recommended.

Good Points: The situation was in a quiet relaxing location yet near to local attractions and Conwy town. The rooms are situated in a bungalow type location reached from a central lobby and lounge and have all necessary facilities
Bad Points: No significant comment but the rooms open out on to a covered but open verandha which may be off putting to some people. This also leads to increased noise although we did not experience any substantiial problems.
General Review: The food was excellent, the welcome received from the resident proprietors was first class, and they are clearly taking steps to renew and refurbish the hotel to a good standard. The hotel is a good example of its type, but we would perhaps have preferred to have known in advance that the bedrooms were separate from the main building. Nevertheless we would re visit in the knowledge that the owners are doing all they can to upgrade and improve the facilities, and because of the location, food and welcome that guests will undoubtedly receive.
