Although the animals and fish here are very interesting, overall the place is very small and rather shoddy. We really stretched it out and still didn't manage to fill in more than an hour. The attraction is very overpriced and the figures quoted here have since gone up to over £8 for adults and £6 for children. No family ticket was offered! A total charge of around £30 for a family is a disgrace and although the kids really enjoyed it, it is simply not worth it. Especially when you get to the end and they ask "was that it?" It was a very disappointing end to the half term holiday break. The centre is in serious need of some refurbishment and I can only assume that the high costs may be to fund this in the future. As a redeeming feature, staff are friendly and helpful. We live near enough to visit again but probably won't bother. A family ticket price of £15 would be MUCH nearer the mark!
