It's been a long time since my last visit and I have no dentist at the moment, due , not to the lady polish dentist who was very nice , but the way I was treated and spoken to by reception, inClunie the manager who I found rude and in need of training .I arrived on that day for a checkup and while sat in the waiting room realised I had forgotten my wallet , I went to reception and told them , immediately they made me feel like a criminal, telling me if I did not pay I shouldn't really be seen ! , I explained I would pay as soon as I got home and was told to ask the dentist before I was treated, she was fine and examined my teeth.I then needed further treatment and when I got to reception was humiliated in front of others , the manager would NOT book me an appointment until I paid for all treatment upfront ! I went home , got my wallet , went back and paid just for the checkup , and left , I would like my teeth looked after but still, a year almost have not had the filling , the staff on the the desk need trainING and I need a dentist , George nicholson

I would like to compliment the treatment given to my and myself by AGNIESZKA lAWYSZKO-kULIKOWSKA it has been the most gentle dental treatment we have had. She is always friendly and welcoming if i have a criticism it of myself and my inability to pronounce the aboves name

We were extrememely shocked when our 4 year old sons first appointment in the chair revealed he needed 2 fillings. The discussion with the dentist was extremely brief and the she concluded within a few seconds that she did not think he would be happy for her to do it and that he would need to go to the hospital for a general anaesthetic.
We did some research, rang around and found a practice that have childrens surgeries. The dentist there put him at ease and he sat beautifully in the chair while she did his fillings. It took a few minutes and he even laughed. Why could our dentist at SDP not have even tried this. The risks of general anaesthetic are significant and it should not be offered randomly or where there are alternatives.
So,in summary - although my experience has been fine, although no treatment needed to date, I would say that they are not good at dealing with young children.

I have found it very difficult to be happy with any of the treatment I have so far recieved at this practice since becoming a patient about 2 years ago. Each time I visit the dentist he either pulls out an old filling and re-fills the tooth or he finds another tooth to fill. Each filling I have had done has lasted the maxium of two weeks before falling out again under normal use. The last filling I had done, he hollowed a tooth out and filled it causing the tooth to break as it is now so thin. I still need to have a tooth re-filled for the third time but had the appointment cancelled by the receptionist for the second time and now have to re-make the appointment. Which is a task in itself as they are so busy probably correcting the mistakes they keep makeing.

Reception staff rude, I have two strikes against my name when I rang up to aplogise for missing the appointment due to having a emergency C section two months early. On a busy road and resticted parking nearby. And you can not book treatment in advance unless it is paid for.

All seem friendly enough, but have had no more than checkup, so cannot comment on any surgery as yet.
2 Negatives though that others need to be aware of:
(a) Parking is impossible outside surgery as there is a small traffic 'island' in front. Best use side roads nearby.
(b) Answering phone calls can take for ever and sometimes ends up on answer phone even during opening hours. This does need improvement.

Dear All
Have received treatment from SDP for about two years now, my personal dentist being AGNIESZKA LAWYSZKO-KULIKOWSKA.
Wish to say that the treatment given by AGNIESZKA and all other participants is excellent,if this comment could be passed on to the SDP please this would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely
Peter John Stubbs
