Over the course of a year Murray Hawkins at Winning Smiles has transformed my nasty aging yellow/grey crooked teeth into something wonderful. I can now bear to open my mouth when I smile and talk, something I previously tried to avoid. Wonderful people, gentle caring service - I would highly recommend.

I took my daughter to see the dentist to have a sealent put on her back teeth. As we walked in she ran straight over to the childs corner where she watched TV while we waited. We were called in and Murray the Dentist greeted my daughter with a big smile. He explained everything he was going to do to my child, before he did anything which made her feel very comfortable. He also explained to me why she was having the sealent put on her teeth which was great and I quote "its a preventative measure". We both left the practice with a smile on our faces and no tears what a great experience for children and putting mums at ease Thank You Murray.

It is very nice practice. Spent 30 mins in the surgery having my teeth done with the lady dentist who was exellent but dissapointed that it took reception 50 minutes and I kid you not to sort out my bill. Put me off she was such a dizzy cow and didn't know her head from her arse! My advice is to pay before you go in if you need to leave before it closes.P.S. Great coffee and nice toilet.

Having been to many dental surgeries in my time I thought a visit to winning smiles but be just another run of the mill dental appt. How wrong I was. From the moment I stepped inside the door, I was greeted by warm friendly staff, a wonderfully modern reception area with a combination of hot drinks on offer, a virtual fish tank, leather chairs a menu for DVD's CD's on offer should I need them while I was in the chair. On entering the surgery there was the most wonderful smell not your usual stench of burning teeth which I later learned was fragrant oil burning in the background, and the dentist and nurse smiling and bending over backwards to make me feel welcome and comfortable.I really had to pinch myself in case I was dreamimg. I saw the lady dentist Bethan where do they train them these days she was nothing like any dentist I have been to before, she was gentle, kind and extremely thorough. Everything was explained to me and I was given a treatmet plan and told how much it was all going to cost. I am not used to the private sector having always tried to get NHS, but now I couldn't even contemplate going back to being treated like a second class citizen and having a check up in 10 seconds flat!! I needed quite a bit doing but it was all shown to me on x-rays and explained, what a difference. It was not a cheap quote either but in my opinion it was worth it and I am extremely happy with everything I had. Can't wait to return for my next check-up, not something I would ever thought I would say about the dentist. So thanks to all of you at winning smiles for restoring my faith in dental care, you certainly have made me smile again and I am looking forward to comng back.
