Good Points: The hotel had a fantastic view over the bay, the room was clean and comfortable and we were made to feel welcome by the staff. Bad Points: The heating in the room we stayed only seemed to come on in the early hours of the morning which,as it was fairly cold for the time of year, meant it felt quite chilly when getting into bed. The prices of food in the restuarent and drinks in the bar we felt were quite expensive, meaning we dined in the hotel only the first night we stayed and decided to dine elsewhere for the rest of our stay. General review: We enjoyed our stay at the Cliffmount Hotel and felt welcomed by all the staff. We did find it just a little on the expensive side however and would check prices before deciding to stay again.

Good Points: Food Excellent albeit expensive. Good views from Our Room. Bad Points: Our Room 7 - up 2 flights of stairs was an Attic room. It was very compact and we called it the Ann Franks room . A shower would have been nice. General review: ok

A real Find and Somewhere to watch they have just taken on a new head chef David Spencer who has held two aa rosettes for a long time. The seafood is fresh and prepared with skill. The views are to die for in the restaurant
